What is the best Blackberry Storm application for getting DVDs and films onto your cell phone?

Q. I have done a little research, but I dont want to pay for one that doesnt work. I have used a trial of Mobiola Studio, that works well for youtube videos, but I seems break down my movies into many different files? Thanks for your help.

How do I get the internet on my laptop through my Blackberry Thunder?

Q. I already have internet service through my Blackberry, I have the usb chord to hook it up to my laptop, and I have the Blackberry Desktop Manager installed on my laptop. What's next?

A. It's easiest to have BB Desktop Manager 5.0.1 because it includes an IP modem setup

Once you have BBDM 5.0.1 installed connect your phone and click on the IP Modem icon

Under Connection Settings click configure to set your Connection Profile

Click OK

Under Connect to the Internet click Connect

You should now be connected and able to use your BB to surf the net.

PLEASE keep in mind that your unlimited data plan DOES NOT include using your BB as a modem. You will be billed for usage unless you sign up for a tethering plan. Call your provider to find out the monthly tethering charge (Sprint charges me $15.00/mo).

What is the difference between a Blackberry Bold, the Blackberry Curve, and the iPhone 4?

Q. I know that they all send e-mail, but what exactly do they do that is different. Like service, how the e-mail and documents are set up. Plus Blackberry's seem more useful than a iPhone 4 because all the celebrities and business people have them.

A. bold is the business version of the curve. more memory and a more elegant look. The iphone is mainly known for the app store. blackberry does have apps but there are not nearly as many and to be honest the apps kinda suck. I love blackberry though and iphone too. iphones are also prone to shattering while blackberries don't. On the blackberry you can have a corporate email account and the iphone only has one POP account. The blackberry can open Microsoft word files and the iphone cannot. also the iphone is touch and the blackberries that you asked about aren't

How does my Blackberry Storm know where my contacts work?

Q. I've noticed in my contacts that under some names are the companies/organizations where my friends work, but then some don't have that info. Is that obtained through facebook or something else? Can they see mine? Just curious.

A. Its most likely obtained through Outlook. If the contact has an email signature or a V-Card associated with their email, outlook and blackberry will pull information out of there.

Has a release date been set for the Blackberry Bold and Blackberry Thunder?

Q. I am elidgible for an upgrade, but am trying to decide if I should wait for the Bold or Thunder. I have Verizon and want a WiFi capable phone so I don't have to pay for the data plan.
