How can I get the new blackberry storm at the 2yr contract price?

Q. I have verizon and I got the blackberry curve 4 months ago. I have had so many problems with the phone that I've had it replaced 3 times already. I am having problems with my 4th one, and I am fed up and don't want a new curve. I want the new storm with the new system, but I don't want to pay for the full price. Is there any way I get the 2yr contract price, even though I just started a new contract a few months ago?

A. You can always make deals with carriers and Verizon is no exception. Just go into the negotiation knowing that is what you want. I can't imagine Verizon not wanting you to sign on for 2 years, that's what every carrier wants, but you may have to pay a cancellation fee on the phone. But everything is negotiable. Carriers take hit on the handsets, even when they are not free. They have to subzidize them by having customers sign on for long periods and putting in the cancellation fee. Ask if you could sign a 3 year contract if you can get out of your original one. That might do it. Be creative. You could try this site for more information.

Q. When I tried to install it for the first time I had to use an external drive because the drive on my laptop will not work. It said I had an invalid H drive. So I went to Blackberry's website and downloaded it. I installed it again and it also said invalid H drive. I can't figure out what the problem it, please help!

A. Drive H just means one of your slots in your computer .Like for your USB or any connection to your computer.
Did you check if it was fully inserted?

How do i download blackberry software to external hard drive?

Q. I want to download the blackberry software (website download) onto my external harddrive so i can upload the software ontop my laptop. I can't download the software to my laptop from the web because i dont have internet avail on my home computer, and i want to use the blackberry desktop software so i can connect my blackberry to my laptop as a modem. help!

A. First plug the external drive into the computer that's going to be used for this. Make sure windows recognizes the drive. It should appear as whatever the next drive letter is. Probably going to be the "E" drive but it could even be "F". Just depends on that computer. So make sure you can see your external drive before continuing.

Then go to the website where the update is. There should be some sort of button to click on the blackberry site that pertains to "update" or "download", something like that. When you click that button you should then get a window asking you if you want to "run" "save" "cancel" this. Click SAVE.

Without knowing what operating system you have, I can't say what you will see next. But if it's Vista or Windows 7, at this point you will be on a window for saving the file you have selected to save. Look on the left and click on "computer" so that you can expand computer and be able to see all of the drives. Once you see the external drive of yours, just click on it and then select save.

A. Yes you can you need to get it unlocked tell tmobile that you are going out of the country and need your phone unlocked they will tell you how to do it. It might take a few days but they will give it to you the stores will not help with this issue. And the bis service will work fine once you change the settings in the phone to ATTs settings. I know cause i did it. And if you bring your own phone you can do a one year contract on ATT with it and upgrade to a new phone at any time at an ATT corporate store not an agent.
