Q. I am elidgible for an upgrade, but am trying to decide if I should wait for the Bold or Thunder. I have Verizon and want a WiFi capable phone so I don't have to pay for the data plan.

A. According to The Boy Genius Report, (http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2008/05/13/blackberry-thunder-the-touchscreen-blackberry-weve-all-been-waiting-for/ ) the Blackberry Thunder, now called the Blackberry 9500, will launch in Q3 of this year. That means it will launch in the third quarter - July, August, or September (probably September).
The Boy Genius also reports that this touchscreen Blackberry device will launch as a worldwide lifetime exclusive on Verizon and Vodafone.

Q. Im starting to see some information on a New blackberry coming out for Verizon Wireless called the Blackberry Thunder or whatever number it is. Im definatly gonna be interested in this. Does anybody have any info besides what i have found on a couple sites?? Thanks All
A. I was reading about that as well, but don't have any other solid information other than it is supposed to be a full touch screen device. That's all I really know at this point. It will probably come with the newest 4.6 operating system (like the soon-to-be released BlackBerry Bold). It will also probably (just my guess) have a lot of the same hardware specifications of the Bold (like processor speed, memory, etc).
