Q. I'd want to transfer phone contacts without using the sim card, bluetooth or manually copying. Is there any way to do this using software or sync? Step-by-step procedures would be appreciated. Thanks!
A. There is really no other way besides manually entering your contacts into the new phone or going to a mobile store and having them use their machine.
You can always go to Best Buy and have them use their genie(the transfer device) to put your contacts on the Galaxy S. I work with Best Buy Mobile and know if you come to us while we aren't busy we will more than likely be glad to help you out! =]

How long does the internet on the Blackberry Bold 9650 take to activate?
Q. I switched to sprint today and got the blackberry bold 9650. The texting and calling works fine but the internet and BBM don't work. do they take longer to activate?
A. They are suppose to work at the time of activation. Sounds like they put the plan on there properly.
You may just have to pull the battery out and restart it until it says 1xEV in the corner, all caps.
After a few times of reconnecting it should kick in.

BlackBerry Messenger is also rated faster than SMS in times of emergencies. The 9700 on 3G will allow you to simultaneously send and receive data whilst engaged on a call so this is particularly useful for those who need to stay on long conversations whilst multitasking with sending and receiving email, browsing the web for stock quotes, receiving new calendar data from the secretary about a new meeting or a meeting that has been moved up or cancelled, and even use facebook, twitter, linkedin or whatever social network.
